The US Patent Office has granted Välinge a new patent fort the "Herringbone". This granted patent covers floor panels provided with a mirror inverted mechanical locking system. Once these panels are installed the consumer will have a perfect copy of the traditional herringbone wood floor, but installed in a much faster way and at a significant lower cost. The herringbone patent also protects a system for making such a flooring, and by this protected system an installation in a herringbone pattern is facilitated. The panels are provided with the outstanding Välinge angle lock and/or snap lock providing a strong mechanical locking produced in a cost efficient way. (Source: IHB)
