At the specialized fair Pellet2006 that took place in Stuttgart (Germany) the suppliers were offering wooden pellets for 230-250 EUR/ton. The prices got to this level during 2006 when the prices rose by approximately 20%. However, not even such high price argue the consumers off. The interest in wooden pellets is also due to insoluted questions of gas delivery and oil price changes this year. Therefore,the suppliers of wooden pellets expect that the price could continue to increase up to 5-10 % until autumn 2007. (Source: Woodnet.cz)
