At the autumn forest auctions the wood prices for next season are being determined. This year´s auction results for August and September showed possible increases by 15-30%. According to ONF it is the first time since 2000 when the prices are increasing in France. The biggest increase is expected for strong assortment of Spruce. For thin assortments the prices increase due to demand for fuelwood which can be 15% more. (Source: Woodnet.cz)
