Raute Corporation has received a major LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) order from Murphy Company in Eugene, Oregon, USA. The order is worth EUR 18 million and includes the key production machinery and automation control systems for a new LVL mill. The deliveries and installations will take place in early 2007. Murphy Company is a well established manufacturer in the North American plywood and veneer market. The establishment of this new LVL mill will be Murphy Companys first full-scope entry into the LVL business. The new mill will have an annual capacity of approximately 100,000 M3 of LVL.
