The wood market in Czech Republic booms after the summer break. Most of the wood-processing companies work at full capacity. Mainly the companies processing wood for palettes and palette production are experiencing a magnificent increase and the volume of inquires have raised 40%. One of the indicators of an active wood and wood product market is the surge of interest for wood-processing machinery. Machinery demand volume has increased by 50% during the last few weeks. The companies are interested mainly in machines for wood cutting - log, and band and rip saws. Substance of the demand is again palette manufacturing companies reacting on raising demand for wood-palettes.
