Kastamonu Entegre, a Turkish forestry products company, said it plans to invest USDv100 mln in Bulgaria, where it already owns the Gabrovnitsa AD chipboard factory. It is not clear if the investment plans of the Turkish company involve the Gabrovnitsa factory or a new production facility. Gabrovnitsa AD, acquired by Kastamonu Entegre in 2000, has an annual production capacity of 120,000 cm. The bulk of the output is shipped to Turkey, Greece, other Balkan states, former Soviet republics and Northern Africa. Kastamonu Entegre also plans to invest USD 50 mln in a paper mill project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. (Source: Fordaq) |
